OK. I did a little more research on this Urban Reserve project. It is a small community off of Hwy 75 and Royal Lane. The area is so-so. The site photo on the UR site is this:
It looks nice. It seems to take advantage of the open green areas that Dallas still has to offer. But then I realized that it is set on White Rock Creek, not White Rock Lake. A creek is basically the equivalent of leaving your water hose running in your back yard for 30 minutes. And I saw some aerials of the site:
The location is rather subpar, considering the space that Dallas still has available. Its proximity to downtown, shopping and major transportation arteries are quite good, but I think that they are going to have a hard time co-existing with the aging sprawl whose backyard they are being built in.
