Working on my portfolio I came across this project that is one of my favorites. I may build a second version of this chair to work out all of the problems that I ran into in version 01. Plus also, I need a name for it. That page of my portfolio is untitled for now. What should I call it?

How about… Oui Svenzka? France meets Switzerland. It sounds classy. I would buy it just so I could tell people “yeah, I just bought a Oui Svenzka. No big deal.”

it looks a lot more aalto than eames - very fluid and sensual (even sort of feminine for a hard material like wood), without all the “formality” of eames’ bent plywood work. whatever you call it, its quite beautiful - love the alternating cross grains.
