About once a year I see a good French New Wave film and go through a little phasething. Today I saw Tati’s Playtime so I think I am gonna restart the phasething again. Maybe I should just watch the entire collection of FNW films and just be done with it. And damn you Netflix for not having Jacque Rivette’s Céline and Julie Go Boating / Céline and Julie Lose Their Minds (which I actually don’t even know if exists on DVD in America, and I am too tired to do a simple web search).

3. Hollywood Heat Wave.  When did I accidentally move to the valley?
4. Unsalted Peanut Butter and Unsalted Cashew Butter, and accidentally buying both of them in a hurry.
5. Not Ice Cube’s early solo work.
6. The person who stole my compact refrigerator this summer.
7. Two day hangovers.  30’s are hard years for the bender.
8. Not watching a season premier of Arrested Development.
9. The United States Postal Service.  I swear if you lose one more package you are facing a lifelong boycott.
10. 85 & 110 lb. 11X17 paper and the lack of capabilty of the printers at my school to accept it.
11. Being addicted to Big Brother 7.  It really goes against everything I stand for.
12. Not my maid.  Did I tell you she organized my closet last time she was here?  She did.  And she folded things that I would never have cared if stayed unfolded in the plastic bin they were in in my closet.  Anyone in LA need a good maid recommendation?
