I was at VDL yesterday - I know this is heresy but I found it a little dreary. Neutra’s don’t age well - they require too much upkeep. same problem with the lovell house. BUT - I also went to the ohara house on neutra place - AMAZING restoration. beautiful house. flawless. going to a bunch of tours this fall - you’ll have to come to one since I have press passes.
