What in the hell is this woman talking about?  She sounds like a nervous teenager.

View from Playa de la Concho, San Sebastian 2007.  So many Michelin Stars, so little time.

I haven’t really read a book, strictly for pleasure, in a long time.  In school I was reading all the time, and although somewhat pleasurable, it’s hard to read when you are rushed and stressed.  I am going to make a stack of books to read in the next couple of months.  Actually I’ll do it now.  I’ll “liveblog” my book selections, should be fascinating:

  1. Verb Natures: Architectural Boogazine by Albert Ferre
  2. You Shall Know Our Velocity by Dave Eggers
  3. Far from Equilibrium: Essays on Technology and Design Culture by Sanford Kwinter
  4. Camouflage by Neil Leach
  5. Architecture in the Digital Age:  Design and Manufacturing by Branko Kolarevic

Wow.  Liveblogging is as exciting as it sounds.

In other news, I am planning some things for BoA, launching a new site over at my other job, and trying to think of a name for my firm.  It’s hard to think of something that you might possibly be stuck with for the rest of your career.  It’s so easy to like something that is trendy that will make you cringe in 5 years.  I’ll keep you posted.  Maybe I’ll liveblog it.

Steve and I had dinner tonight to discuss business.  I thought I was caught up with work, but as I started making a list of things that need to be done this week, I realized just how far behind we are.  Little things really add up.  But it’s really hard to complain when your to-do list includes:

  • Get Koston To Autograph Board for Contest Winner
  • Buy Gas Grill and Propane
  • Interview Questions for ______________ (can’t tell you who.)

And finally getting an iPhone and a Mac.  My T-Mobile contract is finally expiring and my laptop is about 4 days from the screen falling off.  Time to update.

Cheers, dudes.

Oh, and.  What in the hell is this?

John McCain in front of Walter Reed Middle School.  Oops.  Republicans aren’t so good with the details.

So glad the lying and fear-mongering convention is over.  The first 5 minutes of Sarah Palin’s speech was pretty good, and had me worried.  But she deviated into being a dickhead for the last 25 minutes.  Rudy Giuliani is a cocksucker.  That little “performance” he put on making fun of liberals was ridiculous, but it was the only time he sounded mildly intelligent.  Maybe he should act like a liberal more often.

Please don’t let these people in again.  Please.

Hello all.  Like the new look?  It matches something else I have.  I have been busy.  I am kind of going for broke right now.  I’m involved in several ventures that I really enjoy and believe in.  I will write about them as they come to fruition and/or aren’t secrets.

Mike V. was at The Berrics today.  That was kind of exciting.  Eric Koston is superhuman.  I’ve never seen a more naturally talented athlete in any sport.  Period.

The horizon looks good.

Texans:  I am trying to come out at the end of October for some dude’s wedding.  Let’s get a drink.
